Knowing what can or
cannot be changed in our lives requires awareness. Among many
other benefits FTC offers “awareness therapy” through a Christ
centered support group. We provide an atmosphere that is caring
and confidential so that attendees have the freedom to be as
transparent as they choose, without the threat of being judged
or rejected.
Since 1987 a local team
has ministered to the spiritual needs of men and women in the
Camden County Jail. A Bible study is offered one evening a week
for those who choose to attend. One-on-one ministries are also
provided. Bibles and biblical resources are made available for
group or individual study. We try to maintain contact with
inmates who are transferred to other facilities so that they
know someone does care for them.
One of our passions is to
give men and women hope. Hope for healing and restoration and
the hope that comes from understanding the grace and mercy of
God.
More than 80% of everyone
who’s incarcerated will one day be released. FTC makes all of
its resources available so that inmates have the support they
need to help them re-enter society as productive citizens.
“The
Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has
anointed me to proclaim release from darkness for the prisoners,
for the display of His splendor.” Isaiah
61:1-3
The resource center has
